IsDB Scholarship Universities List 2026

IsDB scholarship helps you study at many universities around the world. There is no one small list for all. IsDB approves universities based on rules. For most students, you study at top public universities in your home country. They have a list of top 10 universities per member country. This is the main “approved” list.

If your subject is not in home country, IsDB helps you go to partner universities in other member countries like Malaysia, Turkey, Morocco, or Uganda. For high levels like PhD, priority to top ranked or agreement universities.

Main Requirements for IsDB Scholarship Universities

IsDB wants good quality schools/universities. Here are requirements:

• For bachelor’s (undergraduate normal or SPMC): Study at top 10 public/government universities in your home country.
• For poor countries (IsDB-ISFD): Government universities or technical schools in home or nearby.
• For master’s (M.Sc.): Universities in member countries from top 1000 in Times Higher Education ranking. Priority to partners like Malaysia, Turkey, Morocco, Makerere in Uganda.
• For PhD and post-doc (Merit MSP): Top ranked universities worldwide or member countries with agreement. Like University of Cambridge, Oxford in UK.
• For joint programs: Specific universities from partner like Turkey YTB-IsDB.
• All universities must be recognized. Subjects must match SDG goals like health, farming, tech.

How to Choose and Get Admission in University

Step 1: See your type from our types of IsDB scholarships page.
Step 2: Check top universities in your country (public/government).
Step 3: Apply for admission there first and Get letter.
Step 4: If no good option, look at partner countries (Malaysia, Turkey, etc.).
Step 5: Apply to those universities. Get admission.
Step 6: Use admission in IsDB scholarship apply (from our how to apply detailed guide).

Tips:

• Choose subjects from allowed list (medicine, engineering, etc.).
• Admission must be in approved fields.
• For PhD: Need research plan match university strength.
• Check university ranking (Times Higher Education or QS).
